A lot of people are frightened because, when it appears, it demolishes all the old things it finds in its path. No one wants their life thrown into chaos. That is why a lot of people keep that threat under control, and are somehow capable of sustaining a house or a structure that is already rotten. They are the engineers of the superseded.

Other people think exactly the opposite: they surrender themselves without a second thought, hoping to find in passion the solutions to all their problems. They make the other person responsible for their happiness and blame them for their possible unhappiness. They are either euphoric because something marvelous has happened or depressed because something unexpected has just ruined everything. Keeping passion at bay or surrendering blindly to it — which of these two attitudes is the least destructive?

When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too. Regardless of whether we love once, twice, or a dozen times in our life, we always face a brand-new situation. Love can consign us to hell or to paradise, but it always takes us somewhere. We simply have to accept it, because it is what nourishes our existence.

If we reject it, we die of hunger, because we lack the courage to stretch out a hand and pluck the fruit from the branches of the tree of life. We have to take love where we find it, even if that means hours, days, weeks of disappointment and sadness. The moment we begin to seek love, love begins to seek us. And to save us.

Romantic Love Poems

What does the world want of me? Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity. She had a whole life to live, and she was always thinking that, in the future, she might regret the choices she made now. She wanted to follow all possible paths and so ended up following none.

Even in that most important area of her life, love, she had failed to commit herself. After her first romantic disappointment, she had never again given herself entirely. She feared pan, loss, and separation. These things were inevitable on the path to love, and the only way of avoiding them was by deciding not to take that path at all.

In order not to suffer, you had to renounce love. It was like putting out your own eyes not to see the bad things in life. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way.

Love, they tell me. Real love is composed of ecstasy and agony. It is the worst of all tortures, the worst of all sufferings. Our magic moment help us to change and sends us off in search of our dreams. Yes, we are going to suffer, we will have difficult times, and we will experience many disappointments — but all of this is transitory it leaves no permanent mark.

And one day we will look back with pride and faith at the journey we have taken. It will turn to gold.

Love Poems For Her

Resurrection will be now. Every moment, a new beauty. A little while alone in your room will prove more valuable than anything else that could ever be given you. Only when I stopped believing in myself did I come into this beauty. Your old life was a frantic running from silence.

Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking. Live in silence. A wealth you cannot imagine flows through you. Do not consider what strangers say. Be secluded in your secret heart-house, that bowl of silence. Stop, open up, surrender the beloved blind silence. When all your desires are distilled; You will cast just two votes — to love more, and be happy. Even if all the doors are closed, a secret path will be there for you that no one knows.

It is easy to thank after obtaining what you want, thank before having what you want. My dear heart, never think you are better than others. Listen to their sorrows with compassion. Everything is emptiness. Everything else, accidental. Emptiness brings peace to your loving. Everything else, disease.

In this world of trickery, emptiness is what your soul wants. There is one way of breathing that is shameful and constricted. Do not feel lonely, the entire universe is inside you. On a day when the wind is perfect, the sail just needs to open and the world is full of beauty. Today is such a day. The sky will bow down to your beauty, if you do. Be like the sun for grace and mercy. Be like running water for generosity.

Be like death for rage and anger. Be like the Earth for modesty. Appear as you are. Be as you appear.

Daylight, full of small dancing particles and the one great turning, our souls are dancing with you, without feet, they dance. Can you see them when I whisper in your ear? You have no need to travel anywhere — journey within yourself. Enter a mine of rubies and bathe in the splendor of your own light. I promise you this is so true And every word the Bible gives, So find some loving things to do, And know that this soul still lives. May seeds of peace find a home in your heart, May forgiveness help mend each broken part, For you are worthy when the last sunset falls To cross that bridge when the trumpet calls.

So be not of sorrow for those gone ahead, They are more happy than we who are dead, For most of us fail to learn how to live, The secret is to open your heart and just give,. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Oh yes, these things, I too will l miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, look for the sunshine of tomorrow. Lift up your heart and peace to thee, God wanted me now — He set me free.

For whom The milk ungiven in the breast When the child is gone? For whom the love locked up in the heart That is left alone? Break down the bolted door; Rip open, spread and pour The grain upon the barren ground Wherever crack in clod is found. There is no harvest for the heart alone; The seed of love must be Eternally Resown. Although you left us a few months ago, There are a few things I want you to know. Your life went by too fast, way too fast for me, It was a life to remember, the best it could be.

Each day we spent together, I was more impressed, It became clear to me that my life was so blessed. Deep within is the first bright clue Of this angelic face the Master drew, That she was sent to point you to The gates you must go through. You can not hide from His eyes, What is in your heart, nor disguise, So seek first love and never lies, For a loving heart never dies.

It may be six or seven years, or forty-two or three But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me? I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn. Now will you give him all your love and not think the labour vain, Nor hate me when I come to take this lent child back again? This little treasure so precious and young, Loved by everyone that beheld her eyes, Was taken back home as angels sung, So she left a reminder in the nightly skies. Long ago there grew a flower That had a fragrance to cherish, Such that greed could not devour And in death refused to perish.

Kings and angels had bowed to greet, The aroma of this tender seed, For they knew none could defeat, This living Rose that fills all need. The truth is, we may never be able to know for sure why. All that love could do was done. You gave her much love, your heart opened wide, So now you know how big your heart truly is, Do you have room for more to come inside, Can you follow the example that was only His. So know that I did not call her to Me, And that only the body turns to dust, But the real soul is so healthy to see, Where all are so happy inside my trust.

My beautiful Mother, my Angel Precious nightingale, you are now free in Heaven to sing and praise our Lord without a worldly care. When I began to realize it was only a dream I clenched my eyes together, not wanting to awake. You will always be my baby, And I will always think about you day and night Imagining you dancing with the angels — oh, what a wonderful sight Knowing the heavens opened wide to let you in, And imagining, in heaven you made a world of friends.

Well, it is about time for me to go Just thought I would stop by for a moment or so To remind myself that you are always here, Even though you are up there. And to remind you that you are always my little guy. Grief Poems. River of Sorrow by Todd Nigro Drinking from the waters of sorrow sustains a different kind of life.
